The Digital Oil Field of the Future (DOFF) has advanced significantly since CERA undertook our initial Multiclient Study in 2002, with E&P firms realizing significant value across the full range of asset types and benefit classes. Over the past several years, CERA has updated our expected benefit ranges to reflect incoming data as part of our standard DOFF Forum research. This may be an appropriate time, however, to step back and take a more comprehensive approach to documenting the value that assets are achieving through their DOFF initiatives. This Workshop focuses on the quantifiable benefits (e.g., increased reservoir recovery and production rates, lower operating costs and capital expenditures) that firms are realizing in a variety of production environments (e.g., offshore oil, onshore gas). Additionally, rather than simply presenting each achieved benefit as a point on a graph, CERA provides an operational context for each and highlights best practices for documenting DOFF benefits.
In this Workshop CERA provides clients with the data and insights needed to help justify their future DOFF investments and recommends best practices for effectively documenting the resulting benefits.
