With high energy prices focusing the energy industry on rapidly emerging challenges and opportunities, the critical role of technology, innovation and investment will be the theme for Cambridge Energy Research Associates’ (CERA) 26th annual Executive Conference, Strategies for a High Stakes World: Innovation, Investment and the Future of Energy.

Anxiety over energy is not only changing the political and economic landscape, but will reshape the energy industry. The new price environment – as well as energy security and environmental concerns -- is stimulating the most widespread drive for innovation the energy sector has ever seen.  The theme of CERAWeek 2007 reflects growing interest in technology along the entire energy spectrum.

“The intense focus on energy technology will likely have wide effects,” said Daniel Yergin, CERA Chairman. “CERAWeek 2007 will bring together the foremost thought leaders from the industry, policy and financial communities to analyze the possibilities and options for the future.”

CERAWeek 2007 will gather speakers and delegates including top executives from the international oil, gas, electric power, and technology industries, financial and policy leaders, and CERA’s team of highly respected experts.
